Sailing from La Rochelle to Santander in Northern Spain and the Spanish Rias
29th July - 5th August 2012
Whydah will continue south and west from the lovely city of La Rochelle to the magnificent Santander where there is a ferry port for those wishing to head back to UK. This voyage includes a visit to Port Royan or Medoc at the mouth of the Gironde River leading to Bordeaux. This area abounds with history from the 17th Century Vauban Fort at Blaye to activities of the Cockleshell Heroes of World War II.
Berths on these voyages will be charged @ £50 per person per day (single booking) as crew will be expected to take an active part in running the vessel.
