Sailing Holidays in June

Our 2012 sailing season will start in early June. Further your sail training while visiting the scenic ports and secluded anchorages along the Cornish and Devon coast starting from the historic port of Falmouth.

Sailing Holidays in July

In July we will sail south to Brittany to take part in the 20th Brest Festival which includes traditional and classic yachts and boats from many nations. The French festivals provide an amazing combination of food, dance and music events culminating in a fabulous firework display on Bastile Day. The festival each day provides a spectacle of many different boats taking part in the sailing events just outside the huge harbour of Brest. After the delights and intensity of Brest we will join the vast flotilla of yachts heading for Douarnenez bay for more fun and diversion at the Douarnenez Festival - a day sail away. This is another colourful event with shoreside art exhibtions, eateries and live music.

Sailing during August

At the end of festivities Whydah will be sailing for North Spain calling at Port Royan or Medoc in the entrance of the Gironde river with its fascinating history ranging from the Vauban fort at Blaye to the more recent exploits of the Cockleshell Heroes of World War II.

Then outward bound for Santander, El Ferrol and La Corunna

Spanish Rias, Lisbon, Algarve and Algeciras Bay for Gibraltar.
